Presentation: Discuss line.
Procedure:
- Pass out watercolor paper. Write names on back. Orient vertically.
- Draw a rectangle with Sharpie. Add an oval in the middle.
- Draw in simple eyes, nose, mouth, ears, and eyebrows.
- Draw a curved line for the shoulders and add lines for a neck.
- Draw in a few lines for the hair: short or long, straight or wavy.
- Mix a skin tone with red and orange watercolor. Roughly paint the face, making one side darker than the other.
- Paint one side of the hair yellow and the other side orange. Add orange to both sides by the neck.
- Paint the body and background. Make them darker on the same side as the face and hair.
